Jowar/Sorghum Rotti/Bhakri ( Jwar ki kadak Roti )is an Indian bread done by patting the Jowar flour dough & roasting on the fire wood. It is also called as Jolada Kadak Rotti or Jolada Bhakri (Jwar ki kadak Roti ) in Kannada. It is a signature authentic dish of North Karnataka i.e. very common, healthy, filling roti in every household. Usually Jolada rotti/Bhakri (Jwar ki kadak Roti )is a best combination with stuffed Brinjal, any chutney pudi & salad.
Sorghum(Jwar) is a healthy millet which is rich in minerals like calcium, potassium, phosphorous, and iron. Being rich in anti-oxidants, its good for the heart too, and is diabetic friendly. Jowar is also an excellent gluten free flour.
Then why wait, have Flora Jowar Rotti ( Jwar ki kadak Roti )with innumerable varieties of Flora chutneys, Flora Ranjika, curries(esp Yennegai with Flora Yennegai Masala) or as Muttigi with Pure Ghee & Flora Garlic Ball.. The slight smoky aroma of the firewood adds to it’s crispy taste.
