Antu/Gond/Edible Gum(Raw) is sourced from the plant Acacia(Kari Jaalada Mara).It is a natural edible gum of the plant . It is made by drying the sap of the plant and is available in white or brown coloured crystals. Edible gum is high in fiber and protein, making it a nutritious addition to many dishes.
Antu is loaded with many nutrients and is very nourishing. Thus, Antu can be consumed during pregnancy & Lactation as they are beneficial for both mom and her baby. Because it helps them deal with nutritional requirements and helps strengthen bones and prevent back pain. Therefore it is recommended to eat during Lactation preferably, can increase the production of milk in lactating mothers. It also helps to control heavy blood flow during periods as it is rich in protein and calcium also a good source of Folic acid.
You can use this edible gum for making Laddoos, incorporating in all other laddoos to enrich their nutrition.
It is used in preparations either in Fried or raw ground form.
